На підставі вивчення феноритмів та будови плодів установлено, що дослідні види, отримані за делектусами під різними назвами, належать до одного виду – Veltheimia bracteata Harv. ex Baker. Відмінності у морфологічній будові квіток та плодів дослідних зразків свідчать про високу варіабельність виду. M.M.
