Gryshko National Botanical Gardens of the NAS of Uraine to conserve the biodiversity of tropical orchids' flora ex situ along with maintenance of living collections, propagation of these plants through a range of asymbiotic seed germination techniques and tissue culture procedures in vitro include the creation of exhibition glass-house "Orchidarium". The display glasshouse "Orchidarium" is considered as the source of material for scientific investigations, the broad range of educational programs as well as an effective way to form the public awareness of necessity to protect orchid flora from extinction. Комплекс заходів, розроблених у Національному ботанічному саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України для збереження біорізноманіття тропічних орхідних ex situ, крім утримання колекцій живих рослин, розмноження цих рослин за допомогою методик насіннєвого та мікроклонального розмноження in vitro, включає також створення експозиції “Орхідарій”. Експозиційна оранжерея “Орхідарій” є базою для проведення наукових досліджень, джерелом матеріалу для організації різнопланових загальноосвітніх заходів, а також ефективним способом інформування громадськості щодо необхідності збереження тропічних орхідних від знищення.
