There are 106 kinds of Berberis are revealed in traditional collections, from which 10 hybrids and 21 garden forms. However for wide use and introduction in Ukraine 19 kinds are recommended only. На підставі літературних джерел висвітлено історію інтродукції і сучасний стан колекцій роду барбарис у ботанічних садах і дендропарках України. Як з’ясувалося, в традиційних колекціях культивується 106 видів барбарису, серед яких 10 гібридів і 21 садова форма, проте, для широкого використання в Україні рекомендовано лише 19 видів. M.M.
