It is reasonable to suppose the structure of vegetative shoots of species studied to be the important criterion of adequacy of the culture pattern under glasshouse conditions to the ecological requirements of the species. Наведено дані щодо морфологічної будови вегетативного та генеративного пагонів епіфітної тропічної орхідеї Dendrobium lomatochilum Seidenf. Встановлено, що верхні бруньки пагона рослин цього виду мають альтернативну здатність до вегетативного або генеративного морфогенезу. Зроблено припущення, що структуру вегетативного пагона дослідного виду можна вважати критерієм адекватності технології культивування рослин в умовах оранжерейної культури. M.M.
