Prospects of development of scientific researches NBG in ХХІ century are outlined. Наведено відомості з історії створення та розвитку Національного ботанічного саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України. Висвітлено напрями наукових досліджень, структуру Саду та його наукові досягнення в галузі охорони рослин, інтродукції, селекції, зеленого будівництва, космічної біології, алелопатії, медичної ботаніки та біоіндикації. Окреслено перспективи розвитку наукових досліджень у НБС ім. М.М. Гришка в ХХІ ст. M.M.
