Досліджено історію створення колекції видів роду Crataegus L. в умовах Криворізького ботанічного саду НАН України. Встановлено, що основну кількість глодів було висаджено у 1980–1992 та 2009–2016 рр., а саме 70 зразків загальною кількістю 387 екземплярів. Сучасний таксономічний склад інтродукованих глодів нараховує 59 видів, 5 різновидів, 1 культивар. Визначено основні біометричні та еколого-біологічні характеристики глодів, які пройшли багаторічні інтродукційні випробування. M.M.
