The requirements for the interaction between price formation processes when modeling segments of the electricity market of Ukraine are determined. The functions of the simulation model design and its information architecture are given. It was determined that the implementation of a simulation system for the electricity market of Ukraine should be carried out using the principles of designing of expert systems with discrete-event character of calculations that are distributed in time of price formation processes. References 8, figures 2. Запропоновано основні принципи, за якими має будуватися імітаційна модель процесів ціноутворення на ринку електричної енергії України. Визначено вимоги до взаємодії між процесами ціноутворення під час моделювання сегментів ринку електричної енергії України, наведено функції формування зазначеної імітаційної моделі та її інформаційна архітектура. Встановлено, що реалізація системи імітаційного моделювання ринку електричної енергії України має виконуватися згідно з принципами побудови експертних систем з дискретно-подієвим характером розрахунків розподілених у часі процесів ціноутворення.
