Запропоновано спосіб регулювання пересиланням змінного струму проміжною ланкою постійного струму, яка побудована на перетворювачах струму з повністю керованими напівпровідниковими вентилями. Досліджено нормальні режими роботи та показано можливість роботи вставки (електропередачі) постійного струму, виконаної відповідно до запропонованого способу, в режимах з генеруванням реактивної потужності в мережу змінного струму.
