Proceedings of the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine| Резюме: | The results of numerical studies of the distribution of local losses and heating in the structural elements of the surface layer of the rotor at the initial moment of starting the turbomachine are presented. Comprehensive modeling of electromagnetic and temperature fields is carried out on a single methodological basis for the same degree of discretization of the estimated area (pole division of an electric machine) by the finite element method. A comparison of theoretical values with the data of experimental tests was carried out. On the basis of these comparisons, the obtained maximum values of heating and the influence of the deviations of the calculated and experimental data (depending on the testing program and the degree of equipping by thermocouples) are analyzed to assess the actual thermal resistance of the structure in the anomalous mode.
