Досліджували спрямованість мікробіологічних процесів у грунті перелогів різної тривалості (дворічного, дев’ятирічного і 22-річного) порівняно з ґрунтами агроценозів. Встановлено, що зі зростанням тривалості перелогу зменшується інтенсивність освоєння органічної речовини, активність мінералізації гумусу і фітотоксичність ґрунту. Інтенсивний агрозем характеризується вищою порівняно з екстентенсивним агроземом активністю мінералізації органічної речовини, азотовмісних сполук і нижчою активністю мінералізації гумусу та фітотоксичністю.
