Запропоновано методику оздоровлення сортів картоплі від Х, Y та S-вірусів за використання рибавірину, яка робить процес оздоровлення ефективнішим та дозволяє в контрольованих умовах in vitro значно скоротити строки отримання безвірусного матеріалу. Процес складається з таких операцій: введення матеріалу в культуру in vitro, двофазна хіміотерапія, скринінг безвірусних регенерантів, оцінювання отриманих ліній в умовах ґрунту.
