З комах природних популяцій виділено штами бактерій групи Bacillus thuringiensis, високопатогенні до листогризучих шкідників Coleoptera та Lepidoptera. Вивчена спроможність штамів до продукування термостабільного екзотоксину, проведено оцінку їх технологічності. Виділені штами перспективні для створення мікробного препарату для захисту рослин проти листогризучих шкідників.
