Досліджували нодуляційну конкурентну здатність Tn5– мутантів бульбочкових бактерій гороху, одержаних на основі Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae 263 б, які за азотфіксувальною активністю, кількістю кореневих бульбочок, впливом на наростання маси рослин перевищували вихідний штам. Показано, що мутанти М1 та М 68 є конкурентноздатними на рівні вихідного 263 б і промислового 245 а штамів.
