Розглядаються загальні положення моделювання росту та розвитку сільськогосподарських рослин за сприятливих та стресових умов. Пропонується методика дослідження причинно-наслідкових закономірностей процесів, які відбуваються в здорових та інфікованих вірусами рослинах. Останні розглядаються як складні системи управління процесами свого розвитку і складові ієрархічно вищих систем агроценозів. Окремо розглядається задача оптимізації виробництва, пов’язаного з вирощуванням рослин.
