Description
Summary:Quantitative and qualitative composition offungi in the rhizosphere soil of corn wasstudied. It was shown that introduction of strawinto the soil resulted in an increase the numberof representatives of Fusarium Link and Bipolaris Shoemaker genus, which often includephytopathogenic and phytotoxic fungi, whichcan affect plants, reducing crop yield andquality. It has been established that applicationof Chaetomium globosum 377 fungus as destructor of wheat straw leads to the decrease inrhizosphere of corn plants the number ofrepresentatives of these genus and an increasein Trichoderma Pers ex Fr. Thus application ofC. globosum 377 as destructor of plant residuesupports to increase the antagonistic potentialof corn rhizosphere soil and protect plants frompathogens.
