Summary:The basic regulations of the new approach to determine in real-time acceptability of loading of power system’s controlled cutsets in depending on steady-state stability margins are presented. Mentioned approach is based on the models constructed using the group method of data handling (GMDH) and the results of synchronized measurements of voltage phasors of certain objects of power system. The features of the formation of data samples, criteria and algorithms of models’ construction and application are considered. The general characteristic of the developed software for construction of models is presented, and time required for construction and computation of polynomial models in depending on the characteristics of the used computers is also presented.
