World experience shows that it is databases (DB) and abstract journals (RS) that provide operational information to users of various categories about scientific literature, and also facilitate retrospective search of printed materials, inform about achievements in related fields of science, integration of scientific areas and disciplines, etc. A significant number of DB and RZ of foreign countries allows Ukrainian scientists to get a fairly complete picture of the trends in the development of world science. However, the flow of Ukrainian scientific literature is practically not represented in these DBs and RZs, which becomes an obstacle to a full-fledged interstate exchange of scientific and technical information. Therefore, Ukraine's entry into the community of informationally developed states is an urgent task. The editors of the journal "Technical electrodynamics" pay great attention to this issue and make many efforts to make the works of our scientists known to the world scientific community. Розглянуто питання індексації журналу «Технічна електродинаміка» у міжнародних базах даних за останні роки. Світовий досвід показує, що саме бази даних (БД) і реферативні журнали (РЖ) здійснюють оперативне інформування користувачів різних категорій щодо наукової літератури, а й сприяють ретроспективному пошуку друкованих матеріалів, інформують про досягнення в суміжних галузях наук, інтеграцію наукових напрямів і дисциплін тощо. Значна кількість БД та РЖ зарубіжних країн дозволяє українським вченим отримати досить повне уявлення про тенденції розвитку світової науки. Однак у цих БД та РЖ практично не репрезентовано потік української наукової літератури, що стає завадою на шляху повноцінного міждержавного обміну науково-технічною інформацією. Тому вхід України до спільноти інформаційно розвинених держав є актульною задачею. Редакція журналу "Технічна електродинаміка" приділяє велику увагу даному питанню та прикладає багато зусиль для того, щоб роботи наших науковців були відомі світовій науковій спільноті.
