Description
Summary:Grids with isolated neutral, in which electromagnetic voltage transformers operate, are known to undergo the ferroresonance processes. Nowadays various ways of protecting from the ferroresonance processes are proposed but one of the most effective is the ferroresonance protection device (FPD), which was created in National University "Lvivska Politechnika". A significant number of voltage transformers are installed in the electrically linked networks and, as a result, the same amount of FPD devices is necessary for its protection. The new multifunction protection system ferroresonance processes designed to allay number of protection devices and to protec voltage transformers at substations with two sections of tires.
