Zusammenfassung:The technique for numerical modeling of three-dimensional electromagnetic field and hydrodynamics in the system "single-phase inductor – bath with liquid metal" is presented. The electromagnetic problem is formulated for vector magnetic potential and scalar electric potential. Hydrodynamic problem has a form of the Navier-Stokes equations with turbulence k-ε model. The problems are solved bath in general MHD statement and in non-inductive approach. The expressions for the determination of the energy parameters of the system according to numerical calculations are obtained. The energy and the hydrodynamic characteristics of singlephase molten metal stirrer for reverberatory furnace are studied depending on frequency of inductor power supply. It is shown that the variation of the frequency (within a certain range) has a substantial influence on intensity and structure of metal flowing in the furnace bath. References 7, figures 7.
