References 12, figure 1. Показано, що повна потужність трифазної системи живлення є середнім геометричним значенням потужностей втрат та резистивного короткого замикання джерела. Формула повної потужності Бухгольца випливає з цього визначення як окремий випадок за відсутності складових нульової послідовності струмів та напруг.
