На основі декомпозиції електричної мережі розвинуто метод розрахунку компенсації реактивної потужності, що дозволяє проводити цей розрахунок поетапно в окремих підсистемах електричної мережі з урахуванням впливу інших підсистем. Даний метод базується на декомпозиції функції зниження втрат активної потужності, що дозволяє спростити розрахунок компенсації реактивної потужності для всіх електричних мереж у цілому. Проведено аналіз декомпозиції електричної мережі та наведено приклад розрахунку компенсації реактивної потужності в електричній мережі на основі декомпозиції. Бібл. 7, табл. 2, рис. 5.
