Summary:Gearless electric drive is a topical for the powerful equipment industry, particularly for ball mills. In this paper the analytical method for calculating the energy performance for axial arc-stator induction motor (AAIM) with nonferromagnetic disc rotor is represented. The motor is presented as a gearless drive. Method of calculating the energy performance is based on a previously developed analytical method for calculating the average magnetic field in a nonmagnetic gap AAIM. It is shown that the formula for the calculation of mutual induction of resistance and own winding resistance were obtained. The method of calculation involves determining the energy parameters of AAIM from the desired value of three-phase voltage source. Calculated currents are needed to obtain the actual distribution of the electromagnetic field in the gap of the electrical machine. References 11, figures 2, table 1.
