Summary:The advantages of using of vector magnetic and electric scalar potentials in the theory of electromagnetic field as physical quantities have been presented. The features of numerical modeling of electromagnetic processes in electrotechnological systems (installations), whose operation is based on electromagnetic energy conversion, have been considered. Electromagnetic parameters of system "induction channel furnace - liquid metal pump" of magnetohidrodynamic installation for production of metal granules have been defined on the basis of three-dimensional computer simulation and comparison of the results with experimental data have been performed. Numerical current dependency analysis, electromagnetic pressure dependency analysis and active powers dependency analysis depending on phase shift angle between the voltages, that feed furnace coil and electromagnet of the pump of this installation, have been done.
