Physico-mathematical modeling and informational technologies| Summary: | The longitudinal shear problem for the beam containing closed interface crack with possibility ofsliding friction is considered. A solution of the formulated problem is constructed by applying theboundary element method of the jump functions. Several forms (square, rectangle) of beam crosssections exposed to the concentrated shear forces are numerically calculated. The friction zonewidth and the displacement dependence on the intensity of the forces and location of their points ofapplication, the aspect ratio of the beam cross-section and shear modulus of the beam materialsare analyzed. Comparison of the data for the square timber in partial cases with thecorresponding analytical solution for bimaterial has confirmed the accuracy of the results andeffectiveness of the methodology applied to the solution of this class of problems. |
