Summary:The stress-strain state of a grain is considered in active regimes of drying. Based on the fundamentalsolutions of the thermal conductivity and mechanodiffusivity model, the formulae for determiningthe viscous-elastic stresses arising in the grain during its drying in active regimes are obtainedand patterns of arising stresses depending on the bilayer structure of the individual grainsare investigated and established. A numerical study of displacements, deformations, and stressesin structural elements of grains depending on the temperature and the concentration of moisture iscarried out and their optimal values to achieve uniform drying of wheat are determined.
