| description | The frictionless contact between an elastic body and a rigid base with periodically arrangedrectangular grooves is considered. There are liquid bridges in the middle parts of interface gaps,and the edges of interface gaps contain a gas under constant pressure. It is assumed that the liquidis incompressible and perfectly wets the surfaces of the bodies. Due to the surface tension of theliquid, a pressure drop described by Laplace’s equation occurs in the liquid and the gas.The contact problem for the elastic half-space is reduced to a singular integral equation (SIE)with Hilbert kernel for a derivative of a gaps height and a transcendental equation for a length ofthe liquid regions. The dependences of the liquid regions, the pressure drop, the shape of thegrooves and the contact approach of the bodies on the applied load, the volume and the surfacetension of the liquid are analyzed. |

Розглянуто безфрикційний контакт пружного тіла та жорсткої основи за наявності в ній періодично розташованих виїмок прямокутної форми, коли в середніх частинах міжповерхневих просвітів містяться рідинні містки, а на краях — газ, що перебуває під сталим тиском. Вважається, що рідина нестислива та повністю змочує поверхні тіл. Внаслідок поверхневого натягу рідини виникає перепад тисків у рідині та газі, що описується рівнянням Лапласа. Сформульовану контактну задачу для пружного півпростору зведено до сингулярного інтегрального рівняння (СІР) з ядром Гільберта, відносно похідної відвисоти зазорів і трансцендентного рівняння для визначення довжини ділянки з рідиною. Проаналізовано залежності ділянки з рідиною, перепаду тисків, форми зазорів і контактного зближення тіл від прикладеного навантаження, об’єму рідини та її поверхневого натягу.
