Ukrainian Academic Grid consolidatesthe computing power and storage resources of more than30 research institutes of NAS-Ukraine. This ensures functionalenvironment, which provides solution of a wide range of scientificproblems.The paper presents the results of the use of grid infrastructurecreated in the Institute of Radio Astronomy of National Academyof Sciences of Ukraine for numerical solving of problems invarious fields of astronomy, astrophysics and radio physics.Promising areas of wider use of parallel computing in scientificresearch are proposed. Для решения сложных и ресурсоемких научных и прикладных задач все шире используются так называемые распределенные вычисления. Одним из направлений их развития являются грид-технологии. Они позволяют эффективно и надежно управлять компьютерными ресурсами, включенными в общую сеть. Украинский академический грид объединяетвычислительные мощности и ресурсы хранения данных более 30 научно-исследовательских институтов НАН Украины. Это обеспечивает функциональную среду, позволяющую решать широкий круг научных задач. В работе представлены результаты использования грид-инфраструктуры, созданной в Радиоастрономическоминституте Национальной академии наук Украины, для численного решения задач в различных областях радиоастрономии, астрофизики и радиофизики. Предложены также перспективные направления более широкого использования параллельных вычислений в научных исследованиях.
