Radio physics and radio astronomyРезюме: | A pulsed-mode technique is suggested for frequency-and-angular sounding of traveling ionospheric disturbances (TID), based on measurements of variations in the angles of arrival, Doppler frequency shifts and group time delays of HF signals reflected from the ionosphere. The inverse problem has been solved in the statistical and dynamic approaches for the TID model in the form of a perturbed effective reflecting surface that moves at ionospheric heights. The created diagnostic algorithms have been tested through computer simulation whose results demonstrate a high efficiency of the technique suggested. Results of applying the algorithms to processing the data on HF signal parameter variations measured at oblique and quasivertical propagation paths are presented. The most probable magnitudes of the TID parameters observed in the measurements have been estimated. |
