Technology and design in electronic equipment| Summary: | The results of designing a broadband amplifier integrated circuit with adjustable gain are presented. The circuit, implemented using bipolar technology, contains the main amplifier, an R-2R attenuator, a gain control interface, and a stable current source forming bias voltages. The use of PSPICE software and calculated SPICE parameters made it possible to simulate the static and frequency characteristics of the circuit. The bandwidth f_B at the 3 dB level is approximately 30 MHz, and the linearity of gain control within the range from 0 to 40 dB is no worse than ±0.3 dB.
