Summary:Existing approaches to the environmental diagnostics of motor vehicle engines do not exclude subjectivity in the obtained results, assume its periodicity (at best 1–2 times a year), and do not take into account actual operating conditions changing in time and space. A system for continuous real-time monitoring of vehicle exhaust toxicity is proposed, which should contribute to reducing the level of air pollution.
