Рассмотрены особенности синхронизации потоков данных в многоканальных системах ЦОС с различной архитектурой. Показано, что в ряде случаев система синхронизации может быть реализована в виде совокупности локальных систем, что позволяет понизить уровень создаваемых ими помех и упростить реализацию за счет сокращения числа глобальных связей. Предложен метод комплексной оценки эффективности реализации (аппаратурных затрат) проектируемой системы с учетом сложности системы синхронизации.
