Summary:Given article presents experimental research of heat transfer characteristics of the pulsating heat pipe (PHP) which consists of seven coils with 1 mm inner diameter. Water was used as the heat carrier. PHP construction, measuring circuit and research technique are presented. It is shown that under PHP functioning there are two characteristic modes of operation, which can be distinguished by values of thermal resistance. PHP heat exchange features are disclosed.
