This approach makes it possible to increase performance by raising the number of instructions executed in parallel by the microprocessor without a corresponding increase in the length of VLIW instructions. This positive effect is achieved through the inherent internal parallelism of the proposed structure, where the microprocessor employs not only controlled arithmetic units but also arithmetic units that do not require explicit commands to set operating modes. Рассмотрен вопрос разработки оригинальной звездообразной структуры микропроцессора, в которой объединяются архитектуры суперскалярного микропроцессора и VLIW-процессора, что позволяет повысить быстродействие путем увеличения количества параллельно выполняемых микропроцессором команд без соответствующего увеличения длины VLIW-команд микропроцессора. Этот положительный эффект достигается за счет использования присущего предлагаемой структуре внутреннего параллелизма, когда в данном микропроцессоре применяются не только управляемые арифметические устройства, но и арифметические устройства, не требующие команд для задания режимов работы.
