Zusammenfassung:Using acceleration sensors as an example, inertia forces are examined, and an analogy is drawn between the phenomena of inertia in mechanics and self‑induction in electrical engineering. In accordance with the general theory of relativity, the inertia field is proposed to be regarded as a self‑gravity field arising from the accelerated motion of a physical body. Inertia forces should be taken into account in Newton’s third law rather than his second law. The laws of classical mechanics are not in contradiction with the general theory of relativity. The latest models of sensors developed on the basis of micromechanics and microelectronics are discussed. The theoretical considerations presented in this article develop those previously published by the author in the journal Tekhnologiya i Konstruirovanie v Elektronnoi Apparature (Technology and Design in Electronic Equipment), No. 1/2001.
