Technology and design in electronic equipment| Summary: | A commercial single‑fan cooler was experimentally investigated. It was shown that the maximum temperature drop along the height of the radiator fin depends linearly on the supplied heat flux P and can reach about 35 °C at P ≈ 100 W. To improve heat dissipation efficiency, it is proposed to connect the base of the radiator with the upper (“cold”) ends of the fins using heat pipes. This design allows additional heat removal from the radiator base and ensures a more uniform temperature distribution along the fins. |
