Description
Summary:The instability of the radiation flux of gas-discharge mercury lamps used in the calibration of optoelectronic instruments has been investigated. A methodology for accounting for this instability is presented, which makes it possible to reduce the calibration error of UV radiometers from ±10.2% to ±8.5%. It is not recommended to use mercury lamps for measuring the instability of photodetector sensitivity.
