Description
Summary:Zoogeographic characteristics of Hemiptera urbancenoses in Kharkiv city (Ukraine) show a rather large fragmentation of the types of bedbug ranges. This may be due to the mosaic nature of conditions in different biotopes of the city, contributing to an increase in the diversity of bug species from different zoogeographic groups (subgroups). In general, 20 types of species ranges have been identified, combined into 12 sector groups. The largest (both in the number of species and in abundance) were the representatives of the Trans-Palaearctic (64 species), West Palaearctic (62), European (20), and Holarctic (18) groups of habitats. Other groups included one to three species. Four species of bedbugs have a post-Palaearctic type of distribution with cosmopolitan, near-arctic (one species each) and sub-cosmopolitan (two species) ranges.
