We propose one of the possible ways to increase the energetic efficiency of an internal-combustion engine by means of introduction of an adaptive system for control of the moment of ignition. We use the current pressure in the combustion chamber, which is permanently measured during the engine operation and treated by a vehicle-borne microcontroller device, as the initial information. With the aid of the designed apparatus we have carried out experimental investigations of power characteristics of the engine MeMZ-968. The obtained data corroborate the efficiency of application of this device in order to economize fuel and increase the engine power. Запропоновано один із шляхів підвищення енергоефективності двигуна внутрішнього згоряння за рахунок застосування адаптивної системи управління моментом запалювання. В якості вихідної інформації використовувався поточний тиск у камері згоряння, який безперервно вимірювався під час роботи двигуна та оброблявся бортовим мікроконтролерним пристроєм. За допомогою розробленої апаратури проведені експериментальні дослідження потужносних характеристик натурного двигуна МеМЗ-968. Отримані дані підтверджують ефективність використання розробленого пристрою з метою економії палива і підвищення потужності двигуна.
