The flow is considered as a quasi-homogeneous fluid with variable density across the channel section. We take into account the effect of the disperse phase on the value of von Karman's constant. We compare the results of calculations based on the proposed model with the known experimental data. The model enables one to determine the pressure drop in the systems of coal-dust feeding with a high concentration into burners of steam boilers. |
