The accuracy estimation of maximal losses method is obtained on the basis of empirical Kezevich's formula. The linear dependence of the method error on the maximal load value is proved, taking into account the dependence of the maximal losses time on the maximal load time. The error does not exceed 9 per cent for any form of the load graphs. The generalized formula for the maximal losses time is developed for arbitrary calculation period. Здійснено оцінку точності методу максимальних втрат на основі емпіричної формули Кезевича. Доведено, що із урахуванням залежності часу максимальних втрат від часу максимуму навантаження (коефіцієнта заповнення графіка навантажень) залежність похибки метода від максимального навантаження є лінійною і не перевищує 9% за будь-якої форми графіка. Отримано узагальнену формулу часу максимальних втрат для будь-якого розрахункового періоду.
