Проблема раціонального використання енергетичних ресурсів набуває державного значення для України. Очевидно, що промисловість - пріоритетна з точки зору можливості впровадження технологій підвищення ефективності споживання енергії область. Першочерговими до здійснення на підприємствах є заходи, що відносяться до категорії безвидаткового управління електроспоживанням, через те, що вони не потребують додаткових коштів і дозволяють значно згладити графік навантаження. Ці заходи найбільш ефективно можуть бути реалізовані з використанням споживачів-регуляторів. Для спрощення, уніфікації процесу виявлення й ідентифікації споживачів-регуляторів запропоновано методику.
