Zusammenfassung:The problem of forecasting demand on fuel and energy resources in modern terms of quick growth of world integration processes is considered. The new offered approach to development of prognoses of demand for fuel and energy resources allows to take into account influence of various factors (economy sectors development, the resources usage efficiency, needs of eventual consumption sectors in fuel and energy resources, the export, import and own production usage efficiency, expected population living standards, etc.) on prognosis. This approach is based on the synthesis of forming methods of perspective input-output and fuel and energy balances taking into consideration ecological limitations.Within the framework of offered approach the general principles of construction of optimization models of perspective requirement determination for fuel and energy resources are presented. The basic optimization model of forecasting fuel and energy resources demand and possible directions to its transformation in dependence on problem definition, input information and additional limitations is given.
