Given that the coal industry in Ukraine is not able to function without funding from the state, and funds allocated from the budget, it is absolutely not enough for normal operation of coal-defined as the branch of relevance is the question of efficient distribution and use of budget funds, primarily capital expenditures between individual mines.The problems of budget allocation between the mines in Ukraine are usually solved in the «manual» mode and does not take into account comprehensively. Funds are allocated coal industry over the past years, do not solve the main task – namely, to increase coal production and improve its quality. The developed method of ranking coal mines designed to determine the prospects of the coal mines of Ukraine, taking into account the technical and technological, economical, high-quality, natural, environmental and social factors.The proposed method makes it possible to approach the assessment of specific coal company differentiated by evaluating it as to each factor separately, and by a combined index as a whole. It can reasonably be used in the allocation of budgetary funds allocated for the maintenance and development of coal mines, and also allows potential investors to pre-evaluate and draw conclusions about the object of future investment. З огляду на те, що вугільна промисловість України не в змозі функціонувати без фінансування з боку держави, а коштів, що виділяються з бюджету, вкрай недостатньо для нормальної роботи вугільної галузі, актуальним є питання ефективного розподілу й використання бюджетного фінансування, зокрема, капітальних вкладень між окремими шахтами.Проблеми розподілу бюджетних коштів між шахтами в Україні зазвичай розв’язуються в «ручному» режимі і не розглядаються комплексно. Кошти, які виділяються вугільній галузі протягом останніх років не розв’язують основного завдання, а саме – збільшення видобутку вугілля і покращення його якості.Розроблена методика ранжування вугільних шахт призначена для визначення перспективності вугільних шахт України з врахуванням техніко-технологічних, економічних, якісних, природно-екологічних та соціальних факторів.Запропонована методика дає змогу підійти до оцінки конкретного вугільного підприємства диференційовано, оцінюючи його як за кожним коефіцієнтом окремо, так і за інтегральним показником у цілому. Вона дозволяє обґрунтовано підходити до розподілу бюджетних коштів, які виділяються на підтримку і розвиток вуглевидобувних підприємств, а також дає змогу потенційним інвесторам попередньо оцінити та зробити висновки щодо об’єкта майбутнього інвестування.
