System Research in Energy| Резюме: | Determination of energy saving potentials has a great value for the estimation of energy consumption levels and energy saving in industries of national economy for a perspective period. There are theoretical, technically possible and economically reasonable potentials of energy saving. The methodological approaches to calculation of energy saving potentials at branch level are determined in the article. The experience of industrially developed countries testifies to the fact that furnaces which have a dry method of clinker production are the most economical on heat inputs in cement industry – they consume almost two times less fuel than those which work on a wet method. The small share (15 %) of the dry production method in cement industry of Ukraine determines a higher level of weighted average cost per unit of fuel per ton of clinker compared with industrially developed countries. Therefore improvement in production pattern of cement at the expense of increase of volumes of its production by means of the dry method will not only contribute to overall efficiency of cement works but will also considerably save fuel and energy resources in the branch.Upgrading of the plants to dry method of production began in Ukraine in 2006. According to our calculations due to introduction of dry production method energy saving potential in cement industry of Ukraine in 2015 can make up 691,5 thousand of conditional fuel. |
