Summary:The article defined the components and presented the core processes of UMM methodology of object-oriented modeling which is based on modern information technologies and is the basis for building role models and a detailed description of the functioning of competitive electricity markets.The object-oriented model of electricity market is a formalized and detailed description of the electricity market using the UN/CEFACT modeling methodology. UMM is based on UML and consists of business modeling workflow, business requirement workflow, analysis workflow, design workflow.The use of the UMM methodology of object-oriented modeling and building of Ukrainian bilateral contracts electricity market and the balancing market model allow to provide an overview of the operating principles and processes of the market for all users and software developers. Also a role model is used as the primary architecture for the creation of information-technological systems of market domains management.
