System Research in Energy| Резюме: | Investigation of the influence of ecological factors on the development and operation of the power industry consists of the assessment of generating capacities structural changes, depending on the level of environmental restrictions and requirements; and definition of a set of measures, that are ensure the satisfaction of the constraints in terms of the current state of power industry, national energy security requirements, and availability of investment and material resources. Such assessment can be made with a strict adherence to the environmental regulatory constraints, as well as with regard to the opportunity of their exceeding, resulted in introduction of penalty fees.Since the ecological component is included in payments for standard and over-standard emissions and pollutants, that are the results of electricity generation, the influence of ecological factors is modeling by means of separation of economical component from the overall electricity production payments. This makes possible to find out at what level of payments for such ecological impacts with a given level of system-wide ecological constraints, the implementation of nature-conservative mitigation measures on the power plants will be more economically value-added in comparison with payment of the penalty fees.To enforce regulatory constraints and requirements for greenhouse gases and other pollutants emissions, it is necessary to modernize the existing coal technologies and therefore update their ecological efficiency to the European standards by means of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide purification units, and modernization or replacement of electrostatic precipitators. Herewith, in the prospective the implementation of technologies meant for supercritical parameters is more environmentally and economically worth it, then modernization of existing power units and installation of the highly efficient technologies for the emissions mitigation. An extend implementation of natural gas technologies will be needed on the peak levels of ecological payments. Implementation of clean renewable energy technologies is suitable for all scenarios. |
