System Research in Energy| Zusammenfassung: | The state of production and consumption of heat energy for the years 2000-2010 for the needs of heat supply with the use of heat pumps of various types is analyzed. It is determined that the actual production and consumption of heat energy is substantially higher than that stated in official statistics. One of the sources, which is not recorded by statistics, is the heat energy produced by heat pump systems, which are represented mostly by household reversible air conditioners of various types and climate-control systems in industry. With the use of information concerning the volume of sales of such equipment during 1991-2010, the assessment of the cumulative total capacity of such installations for heat generation is performed. It is shown that their total established capacity is continuously growing. Thus, if the total capacity of such systems in 2000 was 435 MW, then it has grown to 2.01 mln kW by 2005, reached a value of 4.93 mln kW in 2008, and it was as high as 6.7 mln kW in 2010. Within this capacity, industrial systems dominate (over 90%).As a result of the performed calculations and assessments, the total amounts of the heat energy production for industrial and household needs in 2000-2010 are determined, and the power consumption for the operation of such systems is also determined. It is shown that the power consumption by these heat production systems has reached, by minimal estimates, 4.35-4.5 bln kWh, including about 3.7-3.8 bln kWh from industrial systems and 0.53-0.65 bln kWh from household ones.On the basis of the performed analysis, the conclusions concerning the needed measures for improving the statistical observation in the matter of heat generation are stated, since the considerable growth of power consumption needs a corresponding reaction concerning its production. |
