Summary:The article presents the results of studies of the hydrodynamics of a fluid film and a gas flow in channels with a grid surface and the processes of heat transfer during the condensation on the gravitationally falling down film of a cooling substance.A significant influence of the operation parameters of contacting media on the intensity of the running processes is established. It is shown that the calculation of the condensation process in devices of the contact type must account for a significant reduction in the heat transfer intensity due to the presence of non-condensable gases in the condensation zone. It is recommended to perform the calculation of devices by the formulas obtained in this investigation.
