System Research in Energy| Резюме: | It is proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of energy technologies (installations) by the value of absolute energy return as the difference between the available capacity and energy costs, which are determined by the sum of energy costs for the creation, maintenance, and utilization of a power plant. The positions of the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of technologies in terms of total energy costs and the methodology for determining the energy costs for items that are omitted by the available standards are highlighted. As an indicator that can be used to compare fundamentally different technologies and facilities, it is offered to use the energy efficiency ratio, which represents the ratio of the total energy productivity of a plant over the period of its existence to the value of total energy costs associated with the creation of systems and units, their operation and maintenance, as well as with their eventual liquidation.By the examples of individual technologies with the use of renewable energy sources, it is shown that, under modern conditions, not all of them are expedient to be used. A number of technologies (SES (thermal), GeoTES, bioethanol, and biodiesel fuel) are considered, and it is shown that they are problem ones and need to be improved in order to reduce the energy costs for their creation and operation and the liquidation of equipment remnants after the end of service life since, as estimated, the energy cost to create them is higher than the energy received from them during the operation. |
