System Research in Energy| Summary: | An automatic system of control over the frequency and the power is intended, first of all, for the automatic secondary frequency control and power flows. For the estimation of a load on the transmission facilities, a dynamical model of power flows between the regulations areas at a power system is developed. The purpose of the article is to determine the parameters of the transient processes of changes of the frequency and power flows and the relevant regulating laws under shock disturbances in Ukraine’s United power system (UPS) in the mode of its parallel operation with the ENTSO-E power community. The proposed mathematical model of power flows together with the advanced software-information complex can model the power systems consisting of two control zones with arbitrary granularity of their elements. It is established that a shock disturbance arising in one of the regulation areas leads to the abrupt power flow change between zones. The parameters of the regulating law must be adjusted for each structure of a power system. The involvement of the controllable load provides a significant reduction in the transition process duration, the maximum frequency deviation, and the integral value of flows. |
